Cardinal Administration Services  is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) established in 1985 as a not-for-profit joint venture between the Aultman Health Foundation and Stark Quality Care Physicians. Today, AultCare is the largest hospital-based PPO in northeast Ohio.


AultCare administers payment of benefits such as medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, worker's compensation, and flexible spending accounts. Benefit plans we administer include: Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Traditional, and Point of Service (POS) plans. Additionally, AultCare manages a subsidiary company as a licensed Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).


Our mission is: To provide medically necessary services that meet professionally recognized standards for healthcare. To provide quality, cost effective, accessible health services to our members, and to comply with regulatory standards and procedural requirements. AultCare is committed to maintaining the highest level of service and satisfaction to our customers.


Our ability to meet mission goals is demonstrated by a growth rate from 4,000 enrollees in 1985 to over 300,000 covered individuals and a ninety-eight percent retention rate. Over 1,400 local companies have trusted AultCare for their employee's health coverage.
